STORY
My connection to Newsong goes all the way back to the days that I served at Mariners Church in the 90’s.  I met Dave G. during the merger conversations between Mariners and South Coast Community Church.  I liked Dave and the leaders I met; even at that time I actually began to wonder if there might be a ministry connection for us sometime in the future.  Seven years after leading a church plant in Santa Ana I was invited to join a team of crazy, ADHD leaders who were doing ministry in a way I’d never experienced before.  In the midst of all the chaos and fun we have as we work hard together I have loved the posture of humility and the desire of leadership to ‘get out of the way’ so that God can get all of the credit for what He is doing in the church.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Over the years I have seen God do remarkable things (very literally – miracles!) in the lives of people through healing prayer.  I currently serve as one of three Regional Pastors at Newsong; my ministry emphasis is in healing and counseling.   There is no bigger thrill in my life than to witness God’s love and power to changes lives and to bring healing and wholeness where there was once only brokenness and devastation.

FACT
A perfect day for me is decompressing with a good novel in the shade of redwood trees (bonus: jazz playing in the background).
