We want to help you find the passion that God has placed in your heart and bring it to life.

Who should sign up for a FLOW consult?
The FLOW consultation is available to any participant of Newsong Church. If you are in a place where you are ready to share your story and be offered a fresh perspective from a trained FLOW consultant of your life’s intricacies and DNA, then FLOW is for you!

What is a FLOW Consult?
A FLOW consultation will recognize your untapped passion and abilities, it will help identify where you came from, where you are now, and where you are going, and it will provide a personal development plan that will help you make a difference. A FLOW Consultation’s hope is to give you insight into your God-given destiny.

I want to request a FLOW. Now what? How do I sign up?
Once you request a FLOW online (http://flow.newsong.net), you will receive a confirmation email with all the necessary instructions to proceed. You will need to complete and turn in three instruments. Once the instruments are received and approved, you will be placed in the FLOW queue, and from there you will be assigned a trained FLOW consultant. You will schedule your consult directly with your assigned consultant. Each FLOW consultation takes up to three hours, and the time will be spent sharing your story, receiving feedback and practical next steps, and receiving a blessing. Within 10 days after your consultation, you will receive a customized personal development plan.

How long is the wait time for a FLOW consult?
Typically, you will be in the FLOW queue awaiting a consultant for around 1 month. However, currently FLOW Consultations are in high demand, therefore the wait time has increased. You will be updated periodically on where you are in the queue list. We appreciate your patience as we try to accommodate everyone in a first-come-first-serve basis.

Why am I being asked to use symbols and pictures instead of words on two of these instruments?
Symbols provide “texture” and meaning that far exceeds what words are limited to provide.  Your FLOW Consultant has been expressly trained to listen to your life narrative as you unpack each instrument with symbols and pictures.

I have already requested a FLOW and haven’t heard anything. What should I do?
If you have already turned in your instruments and have not heard from us, please email caroline.park@newsong.net. We  apologize that you’ve been waiting!

My small group had done a spiritual gift analysis one evening, and although I had taken it a long time ago, it was interesting for me to see how certain areas had developed and changed over time. One of the action points we wanted to take in our group was to seek how God wanted us to use our talents, so I was hoping to do a FLOW consult to get some direction.

I wasn’t sure what to expect at first… whether or not I would be guilted into volunteering somewhere, or fear that God would tell me to radically uproot our family and plant a church somewhere. Since I tend to be introspective by nature, I was a little skeptical that I’d learn anything new about myself, and was worried I’d talk someone’s ear off explaining the background of my current frustrations and telling my life story.

What I did find was someone to share with, and someone to affirm some of the decisions I had made in the past, as well as encouragement in the areas in which I was already serving. With regard to some unresolved frustrations, I was directed to resources, and just needed to hear that God was still working in those areas. As a working mom, living with parents, I really struggle with juggling everything, and feeling like I’m failing in everything. I learned, “You can have it all…just not all at the same time.” Finally, I didn’t realize how many times I had said it, but I truly feel like I have led a blessed life. Getting to tell my story just reminded me of how much God truly has done for me and how much He has pursued me, even from an early age.

I’m still working on some of the things I want to pursue and learn more about from my FLOW consult. I would recommend people to just do it… take the time to examine their past and present. Carve out the time to meet with someone and receive prayer, receive counsel, and be affirmed in where God’s hand is leading.  – Susan Campbell

I think that each one of us know the “trees” in our lives pretty well.  But often times our intimacy with the trees keeps us from seeing the forest.  And it’s in the forest where God does His best refining and defining of our lives. During my FLOW consultation with my consultant, the broad themes and values of my “life forest” became much clearer than they have ever been.  My consultant helped me see things that I always knew were there, but they seemed just out of my reach.  As I continue to pray, meditate and process my FLOW report, I see God’s hand leading me toward a transition.  While I am not sure yet what that transition may be, my eyes are open to many more possibilities than they were before.  My FLOW consultation was the start of an exciting new adventure with the father I love.  – Rick White
