Our very own Dave Gibbons as well as Erwin McManus (Mosaic Church) and Blake Mycoskie (Founder and Chief Shoe Giver of TOMS Shoes) are a few of the speakers at this great event! Also, leaders from all of our multi-sites will be flying in to participate. You don’t want to miss out.

July 23rd has been set aside to allow participants of our inaugural Origins Event to serve the city. We have the following 3 great options for involvement!

The following is a growing list of speakers confirmed for our inaugural Origins Conference:
Amena Brown
Amena Brown is a writer, poet, and spoken-word performer who also serves as part of the Origins Project creative team. Her latest album can be found at cdbaby.com. She speaks often in church, coffee shops, and large events. Her passion is mobilizing artists and reaching people through the arts.
Margaret Feinberg
A popular speaker at churches and leading conferences such as Catalyst, CreationFest, and YouthSpecialties, Margaret Feinberg will spend 120 days this year on the road and speak to nearly 100,000 people. Recently named one of the ‘30 Emerging Voices’ who will help lead the church in the next decade by Charisma magazine and one of the ‘40 Under 40′ who will shape Christian publishing by Christian Retailing, she has written more than two dozen books and Bible studies including the critically-acclaimed The Organic God, The Sacred Echo, Scouting the Divine (Zondervan) and their corresponding DVD Bible studies. She is known for her relational teaching style and inviting people to discover the relevance of God and His Word in a modern world. Dave Gibbons Dave Gibbons is the founding pastor of Newsong, a multi-site international third-culture church. He is an in-demand speaker, innovative strategist, and cultural specialist with global experience in the arts, business, church and community development. Dave is on the board of World Vision US. He’s also founder and chief visionary officer of Xealot, a strategic innovations groups, creatively connecting resources to leaders around the world.
Dan Kimball
Dan Kimball is on staff at Vintage Faith Church, a church in Santa Cruz, CA planted in 2004. He is the author of books including They Like Jesus, But Not The Church, The Emerging Church, Emerging Worship, Listening to the Beliefs of Emerging Churches, and Sacred Space: A Hands-On Guide to Creating Multisensory Worship Experiences for Youth Ministry (with Lilly Lewin). Dan currently serves as an Adjunct Faculty Mentor at George Fox Seminary where he is also pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree.
Erwin McManus
Erwin Raphael McManus is an author, speaker, activist, filmmaker and innovator who specializes in the field of developing and unleashing personal and organizational creativity, uniqueness, innovation and diversity. He is committed to creating environments that expand imagination, unleash creativity, and maximize the creative potential in every individual and organization. Erwin is also the catalyst behind Awaken. Convinced that the world is changed by dreamers and visionaries, Awaken serves the purpose of history by maximizing the divine potential in every human being. Engaging such issues as culture, creativity, change, and leadership, Erwin is widely known as a thought-provoking communicator. Erwin also serves as the primary communicator and cultural architect of Mosaic in Los Angeles. He is the author of An Unstoppable Force, a Gold Medallion Award finalist; Chasing Daylight; Uprising: A Revolution of the Soul; The Barbarian Way; Stand Against the Wind, Soul Cravings, and Wide Awake. He also serves as a Research Advisor with The Gallup Organization. Erwin is part of the Origins Leadership Team.
