Carewalker Experience

What people are saying about Carewalker

Have you ever wondered?

  • What is God’s purpose for relationship with others?
  • Why have I gone through difficult times in the past or present?
  • How can God use those times in my life for Him?
  • How can I develop my gifts for a greater purpose?

Consider the ministry of Christ:

entral to Christ’s teachings is love, which is to characterize all interactions with those around us. This love is not merely physical or emotional, it completely embraces the whole person. “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” (Matt. 22:37). Following the great commandment to love God with our whole being, likewise we are called to love others as we love ourselves (Matt. 22:39). Following Christ’s example involves meeting people where they are and treating them as Christ himself; feeding the hungry, giving drink to the thirsty, welcoming the stranger, clothing the naked, comforting the sick and visiting the imprisoned. For Christ says, “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” (Matt. 25:40). Christ met people at their point of need; emotional, physical, spiritual; and we are called by Christ to engage with others in such a way in all instances.

But how can I live like Christ lived, relating to others like Christ did?

Christ set the example that we are to follow. By studying His principles of ministry in Scripture, we are able to gain insight into discovering how to live as Christ himself lived and learning “methods” that can be used in service to others. Stephen Series Training takes Scripture and applies it to “real-life” situations by providing information and exercises that we can practice to bring about a level of proficiency in relating to the whole person during a time of hurt, difficulty, loneliness or pain. This learning experience enhances our relationships across the board and assists in developing an awareness of how to relate to family, friends, co-workers; whomever God puts along our path.
