Fall 2010 Kickoff, Friday, September 17, 2010

It’s that time of the year again, summer is coming to an end and kids are getting ready to go back to school. Mom’s ministry has been planning all summer to get ready for our Fall quarter. After a long and fun summer, most of us moms are ready to get back to Mom’s ministry for fun, food, fellowship and rest in our Lord.

Please join us on September 17 at 9:15AM in Irvine’s MPR as we kickoff to our Fall quarter. Our Fall quarter will run from Sept. 17 to Dec. 10, 2010.

Small groups studies offered this quarter include:

Jesus The One and Only a Beth Moore bible study led by Faye Waidley and Christina Ta

Boundaries with Kids led by Bessie Cheng, Ruth Cheung and Eugenia Lee

Got Spirit? led by Rebecca Fan and Cindy Fan

Essentials led by Kathy Shin and Amy Chua

Inheritance a topical study by Beth Moore led by Ann Yonce and Christine Moghadam

Moms Ministry exists to provide a safe and supportive place where women of all ages, walks of life, mom or not, can find and develop encouraging and intimate friendships. Learn and experience spiritual and personal growth, discover and use your talents and God-given gifts to reach out to other women as we build community among one another.

We meet on Fridays at 9:15AM in the Multi-Purpose Room, and our weekly gatherings are structured around 30 minutes of brunch and 90 minutes of small groups.  We offer quarter-long groups on scripture studies, marriage, parenting, and crafts/devotionals.

Guidelines

We have established short guidelines which encourage respect for each person joining us at Newsong’s Moms Ministry. We appreciate your thoughtful consideration of the following:

• We begin promptly at 9:15 AM.
• Breakfast is intended for the mothers only (sorry, not kids)
• Children 6 months and older need to be checked into childcare BEFORE breakfast.
• Our gatherings are for ministry purposes. Business solicitation or product selling during ministry time is not permitted as per Newsong church policy.
