Warfare Prayer
Warfare prayer is a specific aspect of intercessory prayer which is specifically designed to engage the enemy and to bring breakthrough and power to the work done for the sake of Christ and His Kingdom.  In some ways warfare prayer is the most demanding of the intercession ministries and potentially the most risky.  Warfare Prayer training will teach how to appropriately prepare to engage the enemy by understanding the rules of engagement as well as the believer’s spiritual authority which is rooted in their true identity in Christ.

Healing Prayer | Sola Dei
We have named the healing prayer ministry of Newsong Sola Dei, which means God alone (Latin).  We believe that God who continues to do divine healing in our day as we read about in the Bible. At Newsong we approach healing comprehensively and holistically; we are talking about physical healing, emotional (deep level) healing and spiritual cleansing; our experience has taught us that often these are often intertwined together. Sola Dei consists of both a training dimension and an offering of healing prayer appointments.

Healing Prayer Training Events
Sola Dei training is offered several times during the year and includes lecture and practicum on the biblical basis for healing and the basics of healing prayer as it is practiced at Newsong. Generally, we offer training to anyone who wishes to attend but is not a guarantee that those trained are necessarily suitable to serve in this particular ministry.

Intercessory (Prayer Shield) Prayer

Intercessory prayer is not a synonym for prayer; all intercession is prayer but not all prayer is intercession.  Generally, prayer means talking to God.  Intercession is more specifically coming to God in prayer on behalf on another.

Training events are designed to increase understanding about what intercessory prayer including:

• To equip for greater effectiveness in intercessory prayer
• To provide a strategy of prayer shield protection for Newsong leaders
• To begin the process of shepherding intercessors intentionally and systematically
• To affirm and commission one’s calling as an intercessor

The Watch (prayer gathering)
Meets every Saturday morning, 8:00-9:00am in the prayer room at Newsong Irvine. The Watch is for those who would like to pray for the specific requests made by those who submit request from the Newsong Irvine Community.  All are welcome.
