  • Book of James | Faith in Action – Sept 5th - Oct 3rd
    Do you want to grow deeper in God’s word? Then join us as we study verse-by-verse through the book of James. James is a very practical writer, and he writes to an audience undergoing difficult trials. You will discover how to persevere and live out your faith when times are tough. Our five session class will occur on Sundays during 3rd service, meeting in the Route 45 room. Class is free. Please bring your Bible. Email James at buffmeg@yahoo.com with questions.

  • Foundations | Beginning the Journey – September 9th-30th
    Are you a new Christ follower and wondering what to do next? Are you curious about Christianity and want a few answers on what it’s all about? Foundations Class is designed to help you find these answers. Over our four sessions, we’ll explore the basics of what it means to be a Christ follower and answer as many of your questions as we can fit in. The next Foundations Class is coming up soon. We’ll be meeting Thursday nights, 6:30-8pm, Sept 9th through Sept 30th. Cost for the class is $30 (includes book and other materials). To register visit: http://irvine.newsong.net/foundations.   • Foundations | The Bible – September 7th – 28th
    For many people, the Bible is a mystery; but this important book is God’s letter to His people. It is meant to be integral to our faith journey. Come discover what the Bible is all about and learn tools to dig into this amazing book for yourself. Foundations: The Bible goes for 4 weeks from 6:30-8pm Tuesday evenings, starting September 7th.   • Newsong All Church Retreat – October 29th - 31st
    You don’t want to miss a chance to get away and rest. And spend some time with the Newsong Family!   • The Unleash Campaign
    In our call to Unleash Beauty (justice, loving the outsider, and radical sacrifice), Newsong has pinpointed 7 initiatives (The Garage, Design Stars, Refresh, Burrito Project, Laundry Love, 511 Santa Ana, and Malawi) that have already been effective in impacting the community. These 7 initiatives will be supported by the UNLEASH CAMPAIGN. These initiatives were created to serve the homeless, orphan, and widows, both locally and globally.   • Kingdom Experiment - New Small Group Study for the Fall
    This is an active study of the Beatitudes that will help you understand what is means to live God’s Kingdom in our current context. Each week you will tackle and discuss an exciting experiment that will help you understand what it means to be truly blessed.   • Unleash Monthly Prayer Gathering
    Every last Tuesday, 7pm-8pm, Prayer Room. Spend time with others to lift up the seven Unleash initiatives’ leaders, projects, and people they serve every last Tuesday of the month.   • Cause | Summer Serving
    All year there are many chances to serve our community, but summer brings some exciting, new opportunities to get involved with organizations who are already caring for people in Santa Ana and Fullerton.   • The Connex Team
    Come check out Connex! Connex is a place to hang out and meet others or to get connected with different ministries at Newsong. Whether you are new to Newsong or have been attending for a while, join us after service on Sundays. We’ll be under the canopies! For more information, email frontline@newsong.net

  • Laundry Love | Santa Ana
    A regular opportunity to help people who are struggling financially by assisting them with doing their laundry. Relationships are built, and we hope to become a small community of common concern in which participants find that they receive assistance and benefit with other areas of their lives as well.   • Burrito Project
    A group of bicyclists of all abilities that gather on Sundays at 3pm and ride bikes to local parks distributing burritos while developing relationships with the homeless community.  Where: 1341 West Baker Ave., Fullerton, CA 92833  When: Generally every Sunday at 3pm.   • The Hub | Newsong’s Community Cafe – Every Sunday (8:30am-1:30pm)
    The Hub, located next to the Student Ministries room, is a place to connect and hang out. Food and refreshments are available. Try organic, fair-trade, and fresh-brewed Gobena Coffee (100% of profits from Gobena go towards orphans in impoverished countries).   • Production Team
    Ever wondered what it takes to produce our Sunday services at Newsong? We are looking for volunteers to join our Sunday team. Come learn and serve with the Creative Arts Ministry. No experience is necessary. Contact sam.song@newsong.net if you are interested.

  • Veritas – Wednesdays
    7 pm, Student Ministries Room. Come join us every Wed night as Darryl Brumfield and others walk us through the Gospel of John. Veritas is an in-depth verse-by-verse Bible study that equips believers to love and serve each other and the community. For more information, email: veritas@newsong.net.
