Carewalker Ministry is hosting a “Grief Workshop” for those who has suffered the loss of a loved one—a spouse, parent, child, relative, or friend and for those who are walking with someone who is in the process of grieving.  This is a morning workshop to assist those who are grieving discover comfort and support in their journey towards spiritual and emotional healing in Christ after the loss of a loved one.  It does not matter how far along you are in your recovery.  Topics will include (but not limited to) the process of grieving, common responses to grief, and myths about grief.  We will also explore things that are helpful and things that might be harmful in the recovery process.  Newsong’s very own Chaplin Ken Wilson and Dr. Ray Huang will be facilitating this workshop.

The goal is to help you have wholeness and completeness in your relationship with the one you lost and with Christ.  

When: Saturday May 18th 9:30am to 11:30am.

Where: Newsong Church Irvine, the Lounge (Upper Conference Room)

Cost: Free

What to expect:

                1. Receive practical tools for those that are grieving.

                2. Receive practical tools for those that are caring for a person grieving.

                3. Possible next steps for your recovery process.
